19·2 days agoCops also bully people in the neighborhood, not because they’re doing wrong but because it doesn’t match their own personal values. It really is a lifestyle.
It’s part of American values. Part of patriarchy. Churches always hid sexual crimes. What happened isn’t anything different, so their reaction is the same - make excuses and shrug.
