Ur right. Headline: "ESO captured shapes of a supernova… " The SHAPES (evolution of the explosion) have been captured. THAT’s the first. Then, just like NASA colorizes it’s astro photos, these guys made a cartoon. But the detail in the -shapes- is new science.
I gotta admit, I clicked, thinking that was a cool looking explosion. I guess I was disappointed.
