I’m curious, if you put the trans lines in the diagonal between the red/black. would it look neater?

What if:
Keep kitty black, background red… but…
Make the circle for the kitty have the trans color pattern, as a ribbon, circular.
Or, maybe do that with the kitty itself, give it an edge/border type thing that’s the trans colors?
Subsequent to that: that last idea won’t work well because the cat is simply too detailed, complex.
So… maybe make a simplified, vector version of angry kitty?
Maybe stylize it a bit?
Also, we have all the various ‘A in circle’ designs from… all of history, and probably your nearest grafitti’d wall, that could be used as another element, in whatever color/pattern, to balance the kitty.
You’ve also got simply a 5 pointed star, usually red, ala the Zapatistas.
Or, go visit Mahkno and his merry band of absolutely pristine gentlemen, and you’ll maybe notice a skull and cross bones, and the slogan ‘Death to all who stand in the way of freedom for the working people!’
You also possibly have the color patterning from Makhno, the CNT FAI, Zapatistas,.etc.

Just trying to throw out a whole bunch of examples that anybody could potentially grab some inspiration from, any part or parts from em.
Missed opportunity to make the cat the trans colors

Not to transvestigate a cat, but it’s safe to assume that cat is trans.
How about turning the Red to Pink, the black to blue and add a white stripe in the middle?
I also makes kibby bluelove the colours, bit the cat’s details get lost due to the lack of contrast in pastel colours. not sure how to solve it besides making a more stylised and simplified cat.
You bring either the red or the black or both back as outlines/borders to the existing elements.
You could also leave the black black, as you now have all three trans colors in the design.
Half pastel, half high contrast, maybe throw in the circled A of some kind to give a highlight to the black, balance the whole thing?
Or, you can as I elsewhere suggested, make the circle of the kitty be a trans colors ribbon, keeping it in black, or do the reverse, pastel kitty, red and black circle… lots of possibilities.
