    Impeachment starts in the House and the House is controlled by Mike Johnson. He’ll never bring it to a vote.

    Only way it stands a chance is to flip the House and flip 13 Senate seats in 2026 for a 60 vote majority.

    33 Senators are up for re-election, out of that, 20 Republican seats, so if the No Kings movement organizes, it is possible.

        At this point, we should be doing it every 4 days, if not more. It’s about time the American People shut down the nation until the control of it is returned to the people. If there was ever a reason for a nationwide general strike, this seems like a good one.

          That’s just not logistically realistic. Less frequent protests give time to gather broader support. If we had protests every 4 days, they’d be tiny, making it look like people don’t actually care.

          As for a general strike, that requires a massive amount of resources and organization. It’s still something we should do, but it’s silly to pretend we can just do it at the drop of a hat. Make the effort to organize.
