ubuntu 24 LTS here and never had an issue. As someone who came from windows and played around with fedora for a while its kinda really surprising.

Its insane just how important it is and the vast majority of the world doesn’t even know it exists. Truly unsung heroes (everyone who works on it).

Tbf, it CAN be pretty cheap, depending on where you live (or what you got available at home), all things considered. Might even save you some money in the long run from not having to pay subscriptions.
