IIRC she was redistributed out before, and that’s why she’s been speaking out with less GOP influence. She has to garner outside (to her) support if she’s going to ever regain any semblance of power or not be targeted when the next administration goes after the corrupt from the last.
(US) What do you think the DHS ICE raids are practice for? 5,000 arrests a day, without due process to ensure that you’re picking up the ‘right people’, bonuses per head? This will turn into the Secret Police and pivot to arresting everyone who has ever had ‘wrong think’, voted or donated blue, or isn’t loyal enough.
They’re actively portraying ‘wrong thinkers’ as enemies of the state, already, and stating that they should be hanged for insurrectionous and treasonous behavior. It’s happening/beginning right now.
