Private interests are discovering that investing in a shithole country in terminal decline is bad for business. Government interference in every aspect of markets from corrupt courts, to market disruption to labour disruption, fucking with suppliers and customers at home and abroad. The highly skilled fleeing already. The corruption and extortion.

The US is not a reliable trading partner. It is not a good place to do business.

Good point. You can and should always have options for locals. For example, in Toronto, the public Library has free passes for members for a lot of attractions like museums, parks, the zoo, galleries etc…

I am fully bilingual eng/fr, went to school in french, but have a particular regional Canadian accent. Whenever in France, everyone responds in English anyways. They don’t like the accent at all.
