Linux@programming.dev•Framework Computer Now Sponsoring LVFS / Fwupd DevelopmentEnglish
122·1 day agoThere is no “one community” in the traditional sense, in fact many of us are boycotting contributions to their actual community/instance .ml
By contributing activity to comms on other instances and advocating growth on other instances and even advocating alternatives like PieFed, actually dilutes their influence

Linux@programming.dev•OBS Studio 31.1 debuts with Linux multitrack video support and moreEnglish
1·5 months agoI’m not super familiar with OBS for… actually capturing/streaming games, but if you add a new source of “Game Capture”, select your game window and the check the “Capture Audio” option it should work. Though I see it is marked as beta lol

Fediverse@lemmy.world•There's a clear up tick on daily users growing and we've crossed the 50k line as of yesterday! LETSSS GOOO!English
0·9 months agoWelcome! We’ve got memes on deck at !memes@lemmy.world and if you’re a programmer of some kinds we got !programmer_humor@programming.dev to scratch that itch and be sure to drop a shit(post) off at !lemmyshitpost@lemmy.world or if you want SCIENCE and memes head over to the wonderful !science_memes@mander.xyz or if you just want regular SCIENCE mander.xyz is full of sciency comms like !science@mander.xyz and !astronomy@mander.xyz . !onehundredninetysix@lemmy.blahaj.zone is also nice this time of year, but you’ll have to post before you can leave.
We’re not without our cons though, biggest problem we have are probably the Tankies (Authoritarian “communists” who will overlook any wrong doings of China, Russia, NK because they think their governments are the “gold standard”), but here they’re mostly on the Tankie Triad lemmy.ml, lemmygrad and hexbear. You have a .world account so you only have to worry about .ml, but on Lemmy you can do a personal instance wide block if you’d rather just not deal with them. If you want to see what they get up to from a safe distance check !meanwhileongrad@sh.itjust.works

If block evasion was my goal, I’d just randomize each account name, it’d be far more efficient
This is an old account
Hm yes how horrible, 2-3 clicks and a mere second to add an account to your block. The horror.
