I’ve known about UU my whole life, as a kid I was taught they were heretics who were going to hell. I grew up in a fundamentalist Baptist church, have now abandoned religion and I consider myself a humanist. My wife has been wanting to go to church again with our 2 daughters, been doing research and found UU church near me. Went 2 weeks ago and it was an awesome experience. I will try another UU church that looks like it may be a better fit for my family (more famies, the first one we went to was in a retirement town, only a few kids) this weekend. I definitely look forward to being with a group of people who have the same ideals and have a place to volunteer and help my local community and get involved in activism

If you go let me know how the experience was. I hate the idea of going to church but the UU churches went to was the best religious experience I’ve ever had
