It is a mixed bag, but the people who can be saved don’t think these things are related - they think ICE are going after criminals

I think memeing at the right is one of the few acceptable uses of Twitter at this point

It’s a meme where you say “6 7”, optionally with a hand motion like you’re weighing something

There’s no meaning. That is the full context. Any situation where you do any part of the meme is a valid use of the meme

And that’s why I personally find it uniquely annoying

You can’t rehabilitate these people. What you can do is make them feel betrayed so they point in the right direction, then later shame them back into keeping their racist bullshit buried deep down

They’re never going to fully accept that ethnic cleansing is wrong, or even that it wouldn’t accomplish their goals, but they can be made to understand it’s not socially acceptable to share those opinions

And doing that makes them even think about it less. But deep down, people who cheer these camps and ICE raids will always be deeply racist and lacking in compassion. This isn’t ignorance, this is naked desire for an enthnostate.

That degree of racism will always be there, and must always be kept under the surface by social pressure

Geopolitics works on several layers, getting progressively less public as you go down

If their objective was to strike back hard enough to be a deterrent next time they’re attacked, why would they announce their intentions before they had the missiles ready?

This announcement does a few things. It reassures the Iranian people that they won’t let strikes on their country go unanswered in the future. It is a show of strength towards Israel, because they know that the global political climate will protect them from war with Israel for the near future

And possibly most importantly, it’s a departure from nukes. They’re announcing the intention of pursuing alternative means of defense

The timing of this makes me think they’ve negotiated their way back in from the cold. This might have been planned all the way back at the strikes on their enrichment sites - they were strangely accommodating of that whole event, but it would make them look weak if they immediately said they were giving up their nuclear ambitions

The crazy thing is, most narcissists would be kneeling down next to him, screaming for help and going “it’s going to be ok buddy, I’ve got you”. It’s such an easy moment to take control of

His brain is just cooked. He’s grumpy because he got woken up and it’s not time for him to talk. He looks pissed
