So, Israel shill AOC, who refuses to oppose Democrat leadership, is now criticizing Marjorie Taylor Greene for actually opposing Trump?

If even ACTING like opposing leadership is good politics why the hell is AOC sucking up to Schumer and Jeffries?

Marjorie Taylor Green has been hated by the Left for YEARS and never feared for her life.

She was hated by the Right for two DAYS and had to hire security.

This is just her cashing out while the getting is good.

She was always only in it for the grift and if she takes the bag now people will forget about her in 6 months while the Trump presidency continues its clown show.

That makes me think she NEVER got any threats. She NOW gets free security.

        Just another grift.

I would think that if I didn’t see Trump rock through the 2016 field. Now I’d rather see Liz Cheney vs Kinzinger for the R nod

I follow Kinzinger on BlueSky and I could have sworn he had left the party. I see now he refers to himself as RINO

Even though he has in the past voted for plenty things I disagree with and apparently “90% in line with Trump” before turning against him, I have to say… yes. If Kinzinger ran that’d be nice. Sadly, the GOP primary polls put Vance way ahead… Still early days, though. Who knows? DeSantis seemed to be doing well for 2024 until he wasn’t anymore. Maybe Vance screws up. Maybe Trump loses his appeal completely. It’d be nothing short of a miracle, though. Kinzinger actually even has a decent record on LGBT rights. It’d be a spectacular change.

As for Cheney… Not many people share this opinion, clearly it didn’t work, but I found Cheney useful in Harris’ campaign. To me it said “Look. Everyone from Sanders to Cheney opposes Trump. This is it. This is all of us. From left to right, everyone opposes Trump. Him and his friends are not even on the map. He’s far-right. He’s anti-democratic. He’s not part of the debate. He wants to end the debate.” (But yes, of course, I understand how the GOP enabled the oligarchy-driven autocracy that Trump is trying to cement. I know that Cheney isn’t one of the good guys)

The idea of someone calling themselves RINO just makes no sense to me. If you’re admitting that, why the fuck are you still in the party?

I can live with Republicans who have integrity, and are truly committed to the true Republican tenets. I don’t agree with a lot of their stuff, but I can respect it. Not many left. My Dad was one.

But Republicans were just the larval stage of MAGA, which is indefensible in every way. True Republicans don’t really exist anymore, I suppose Kinzinger and Cheney are among the last T Rexes of an extinct political philosophy that exists in name only, almost as a sick joke.

There is no more Republican Party any more. It the MAGA Party now.

          • Eh… Maybe… Maybe not.

I personally think the vote count itself is mostly legit, but its really the propaganda that’s the unfair aspect, not the conduct of the election in of itself.

You don’t need to rig the election if you can just blast fake news to uneducated voters all day. You can literslly do propaganda right in the open and its legallized election manipulation.

But I think the most important thing is. Had electoral college not been a thing, Hillary would’ve been president on January 20, 2017, and none of the stuff on current timeline would’ve happened anyways. trump would never have been president, there would be no president biden (because there’s no way he’d challenge an incumbent in 2020 and 2024 he’s too old), and therefore there’d be no kamala harris nominee, since she’d never win a primary by herself without the stepping stone of being VP. Kamala Harris vs donald trump would not even been a thing. We’d have much better candidates.

2016 election loss for republicans would signal to them that extremist nationalist racist politics doen’t work and therefore they’d be forced to become more moderate and probably end up with an average status quo nominee. And thus, democrats would’ve been forced to nominate candidates that are further left leaning, instead of merely using “we’re not trump” as a platform. And we’d never have this current mess.

The vote count is extremely suspect. There’s a group that is mathing it out district by district, and there’s a clear pattern that can be described by an algorithm

While the rest of us are desperately trying to save America, these people think they’re in a Real Housewives spin-off, and are all about the drama.

      Check your math.

Under federal law, Members of Congress qualify for a pension, funded in part with taxpayer contributions, only after completing five full years of service. Greene began serving on January 3, 2021, and her departure date leaves her with 1,829 days of service — five years and three days, just enough to meet the eligibility threshold. Her pension would start at $8,717 at age 62, and based on actuarial data, could total more than $265,000 over her lifetime.

Why are you freaking out that she has to wait until retirement to get it? She gets it then.
